WHAT YOU’LL DO
USPS Runners deliver all classes of mail and packages to USPS clients throughout the American territories. In your role, you can expect to:
- Work with the Navigator team to locate, track, and verify clients, guided by the latest technologies in geolocation, surveillance, and identity recognition
- Operate an autonomous all-weather off-road delivery vehicle to safely and rapidly transport mail to remote locations
- Assess client’s needs at the point of contact and offer any relevant USPS services (banking, broadband connections, vehicular maintenance, among others) or connections to local mutual aid resources
- Collect data on client’s needs/status and report data back to Navigator team

PROCESS
The application process includes multiple rounds of interviews, a psychological assessment, a fitness test, and a background check. Upon successful completion of this process, Runners will undergo six months of intensive delivery training before being assigned to a designated Hot Spot.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
All Runners will receive comprehensive health benefits, life insurance, and a retirement plan. Compensation includes a base salary of $100,000, with an additional variable bonus payment based on the rate of successful, on-time deliveries.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
USPS Helpers are the face of our company and the liaison between the Federal Government and all citizens throughout the nation. Your main activities will be:
- Identify and register all citizens and families living in a specific Hot Spot, and support the organization of their regular migrations.
- Visit households in the area covered by your unit to deliver mail and collect data on social, economic, health, and cultural aspects of your designated Hot Spot.
- Obtain documents and information for services, schedule appointments when needed, offer guidance to fill forms, assess citizen needs, predict and offer services regardless of the provider.
- Produce reports to measure the main problems in a designated Hot Spot and inform the other governmental branches through the Navigator about their needs and social dynamics.
- Take an active part in the community life of your designated Hot Spot, stimulating social organization and discussion of issues related to improving the lives of the population.
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Keen observational skills and an empathetic, warm attitude towards citizens. Capacity to understand and identify problems.
- Capacity to serve up to 750 people in your Hot Spot.
- Commitment to the USPS policy in regards ending the “this is not here”. No person will be left without information, the USPS always delivers service.
- Be 18 or over and reside in the same Hot Spot you will work (candidates with previous experience in community engagement are encouraged to apply)
PROCESS
The application process includes interviews, a quiz, and practical prototyping tests for customer service situations. Upon successful completion, Helpers will convene in a USPS facility yet to be determined to undergo one month of intensive training. The training was designed for every single employee to have the same knowledge about our policies, values, and principles. More than ensuring a high level of standard procedures and mail delivery, helpers are trained to understand the citizens' needs through dialogue and identify what other service opportunities are presented.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
USPS Navigators support Runners in efficiently locating, tracking, and verifying clients in order to facilitate the completion of successful, on-time deliveries. In your role, you can expect to:
- Locate, track, and verify clients, guided by the latest technologies in geolocation, surveillance, and identity recognition Guide Runners in real-time as they navigate challenging terrains to access remote locations
- Work with Runners to collect data on client’s needs and utilization of USPS services
- Analyze collected data and make recommendations for optimizing USPS operations Manage database of community services and local resources across the country
WHAT WE EXPECT

- Prior experience operating geolocation, surveillance, and identity recognition technologies, with a background in machine learning, AI, and/or robotics
- Fluency in at least 5 programming languages
- Sharp analytical skills and ability to detect patterns
- High sense of integrity and commitment to following data protection and security measures
PROCESS

Upon successful completion of this process, Navigators will be paired with Runner trainees to undergo six months of intensive delivery training before being assigned to a designated Hot Spot.

All Navigators will receive comprehensive health benefits, life insurance, and a retirement plan, as well as stipends for continuing education to stay knowledgeable about the latest technologies. Compensation includes an annual salary of $150,000.
